Does hot-air ballooning go here? Not sure but it felt natural so here goes: Thanks to my best man, my good lady and I got the chance to try it out. It's hard to describe the feeling of being blown along 2.100m up in nothing more than an oversized laundry basket with only the occasional blast of propane breaking the complete silence. Scary, beautiful, oldfashioned and surprisingly exciting. Four balloons went up which made for a good group, taking off gently, just missing a pine tree, then back down low to graze along the corn before zooming up through two layers of cloud over some very cool looking tracks for mountain biking (a tale for another day!). After an hour or so we bumped down and capsized in a very wet muddy field sending rabbits scampering for cover. The full experience didn't really hit us until we were on the ground but it was all good. I recomment it!!! Fotos soon to appear on http://www.totglobo.com.
